MAY IS HERE!

Hope all the mothers had a nice Mother's Day. This is what Jared and Candace brought me. Gorgeous flowers that are all white. I'm still enjoying them on my table today. Thank you and to all my children who remembered me in different ways. I love my children to pieces!!!
We got to call our Sarah on Mother's Day! It was great to talk with her and she was excited to talk with us. We took turns talking on the phone but I think I hogged most of the time. We have already received her return travel itinerary from the Church. She will arrive at the Salt Lake City Airport on Tuesday, August 18th at 7:50 pm. Yes, I'm excited.

Our 5th grandchild, Wyatt took his first trip in an airplane to Utah. It was so much fun having Spencer, Jane, and him. What a nice gift for Mother's Day to have my family all around me.
Wyatt and Raidon met for the first time. Raidon is four months older than his cousin.

Last Saturday we went to Draper Park and had a picnic. The boys had fun on the playground.

Wyatt thought his grandpa was pretty fun too.

Jane had a birthday on the 14th. Hope you had a very Happy Birthday, Jane. Thank you so much for being a great daughter-in-law! Also, thank you for the yummy dinner you made us on your last night in Utah. Hope you come back often.

Our April 2009

I thought I'd better get caught up on my blogging. Our April has been eventful. I love sharing my birthday month with my daddy. Happy Birthday again to Dad, Archie B. Thanks to all of you that sent cards and phone wishes to me. I enjoyed the evening with a dinner out with Bruce and some of our Utah kids. My friends at work took me out to lunch a couple of times.

The Choir had our yearly retirements and a couple of ladies decorated the dress lockers of the retiring altos. This is the row where I dress and there were quite a few leaving us. Eileen Gardner is a friend who retired.
Here are a couple of pictures I thought were pretty funny from Sarah. She sent a Christmas gift to Diane (a purse, necklace and ring) with a letter and CD of pictures to Bruce and I. There was also a bunch of candies from Ukraine that are about gone now. An Elder returning home last November was suppose to bring it to us before Christmas but we just barely got it because his family moved to Hawaii and he's been busy with getting into school at Utah Valley University, etc. I tried to contact him a number of times but we had a hard time getting together. Thank you Sarah, if you are reading this. We enjoy everything you sent and Diane loves it too.
Sister Howard can keep up with those tough Elders. "URRRRRR!"

On Wednesdays I go to Andy and Randie's apartment in West Haven where they live now with Raidon and I get to babysit. He is a joy and I can't resist taking a few pictures once in awhile. We play and I feed him. Raidon loves his "na-na's" and has a talent for slurping up noodles as you can see in the video below. We're so happy for Shane and Shila and their new baby. Hope everyone has a great May! Jeri
