FEBRUARY 2012

Adele

This is the little darling granddaughter, Adele, that Bruce and I babysat while Jared and Candace took a long-planned-for vacation to Hawaii with two other couples.  She was a very good little girl for us and fine-tuned her crawling skills while we had her.  We enjoyed her very much!

On the 4th, Andy and Hope's baby came a week earlier than planned.  Our 12th grandchild, Sawyer Bruce Howard,  was born a healthy 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 19 inches long.  We  visited them in the hospital the following day and got to hold him.  He seemed so tiny.  They only stayed three days before taking him home to Ogden.  They came for dinner on the 15th and brought Raidon who said he is happy to have a brother.  It will be fun to watch them grow up together.  Sawyer seems to be a very good baby.

Then on the 10th I went with the Tab Choir to Phoenix, AZ for three days.  We gave two concerts for Arizona's centennial celebration.  The weather couldn't have been nicer!  I signed up to attend the Mesa Temple with some other friends in the Choir for the extra time we had on Saturday morning. Since my parents were married there over 63 years ago, I couldn't miss this opportunity.  It was beautiful inside and out.  I loved seeing the palm trees and citrus fruit trees on the grounds.

The concerts went very well with about 10,000 in the audience both nights.  Bruce tended Adele all by himself while I was away and did a great job.

My honey took me to dinner on Valentines night and then to a movie a few days later.  It's been a good month!
